The remodel plan shows an elevated dining area and kitchen. The main bedroom has been expanded with a walk through closet into a private bathroom. The kitchen is long and has a view to the living room below. The backyard shows a new wood deck and patio area. We have also added a bedroom to the front of the house using the existing arched, wood windows.

This modest bungalow has nice lines and arched openings. Our work and our concept design, is to expand on the existing architecture of the house. The large, arched openings are a point of departure in our vision to expand upon this low slung home in Pasadena.

The tall arches in the arcade entry will be opened to allow better light and movement though this transitional space. This deep porch does screen the southern light into the main space, which is beneficial.

This arcade entry has a deep roof overhang to screen southern light, which is good, but it is too closed off. Our work will improve this entry space by opening the existing arches at the entry, and install new tile.

The living room will be well lit with natural daylight with the new upper windows. We have elevated the dining room through a new arched opening. There is an arched view from the kitchen.

The main bathroom will feature cement tiles, globe lighting, and brushed brass fixtures. We like the black windows as an accent.

We have extended the arches into the kitchen with a stylized arched line over the stove and cooking area. The kitchen features tall pantries for storage, ample counter space, an elevated sink with an arched view into the living room and a side by side washer and dryer.
