SITE PLAN showing the new ADU

SITE PLAN showing the new ADU

The site plan shows the sloped, hillside site with the new ATTACHED, TWO STORY, ACCESSORY DWELLING UNIT which is attached to the main house. This proposed design incorporates the existing, sloping site with the existing house and merges the two together. Specifically, the new ATTACHED, ACCESSORY DWELLING UNIT complements the single story home with the new pool area and hardscape with a lower floor POOL ROOM and and upper floor BEDROOM and bathroom.

The new ADU will be built to the left of the existing, single story house on a hill. The new pool and landscape will be lower than the main floor of the house, with the upper floor of the new ADU on the same level as the house. The new ACCESSORY DWELLING UNIT has been designed to integrate the existing house with the new landscape and pool.

CROSS SECTION and ELEVATION of the new ADU

CROSS SECTION and ELEVATION of the new ADU

The two-story ADU mirrors the form of the main residence with its hip roof and vaulted ceiling inside the bedroom. The cross section shows the split-level design which serves both the house as an additional bedroom but also a pool room to support the main area below at the new pool.
