MICHIGAN

This small house in Santa Monica needs some help. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Our first order of business is to add some square footage. We will also rebuild the roof, reconfigure the interior and add native landscaping. Our plans for the interior are extraordinary: hardwood flooring, exposed post and beam vaulted ceilings throughout, gable glass for natural lighting, sliding doors in every room with private decks. We are excited about this one! Keep an eye on our progress here, we will post updates weekly.

SITE PLAN

Shows the proposed house with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The open floor plan shows the living and dining areas next to the kitchen which opens out to the raised deck in the backyard. The master suite has a walk-through closet, double vanity and walk-in shower with sit bench and infinity drain.

FRONT OF HOUSE

We will replace the exterior with hardwood siding and use new aluminum windows. The front door will be hardwood with a large glass panel. We will also build an entrance deck which will expand the entry area and the street presence of the house.

DETACHED GARAGE

The garage needs some love too. It will get plenty. We will put a new roof, new siding and rebuilding the structure on the interior, but not too much. We will maintain the exposed structural elements on the inside too as this space will also function as a work space for the client.

The backyard is small, but will we will use every inch. The landscape plans shows new shade trees and a raised deck in the back.
